Fix 1. By Resetting Onedrive

Worry not, Your data will be completely safe even if you reset the one drive all you need to do is login back to get your data. To reset the Onedrive just follow the steps below-

  •  Press WIN + R which will open Run.
  • Now type or copy this into Run Bar “”%localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset“”, Then press enter.
  • By doing this you will reset the onedrive and hopefull fix this “Make sure OneDrive Is running on your PC” issue.

Fix 2. Use OneDrive Website

This is not actually a fix but an escape plan if you want to access your data without fixing this issue. You can do this by logging into the OneDrive website and get access to your data.

In the taskbar, users have reported missing OneDrive icons. This might happen because OneDrive might not be installed on your Windows 10 computer, so you can uninstall it or reinstall it is not running properly.

  • Open control panel. Then head to uninstall a program.
  • Here select OneDrive and click on uninstall.
  • Now after OneDrive is uninstalled download and install it again.
